All praise is due to Allah, the Lord of the worlds, and peace and blessings be upon the teacher of mankind, our Prophet Muhammad, and upon his family and companions.

After that:

I am honored to welcome all faculty members, students, and visitors to the website of the Faculty of Islamic Sciences to explore the instructions and announcements regarding its activities and events, and to engage effectively with the faculty administration, departments, and faculty members.

The faculty seeks to achieve its mission, derived from the mission of AHUMI, to preserve Islamic heritage and its language, instill correct concepts, and promote the highest Islamic values, while preparing outstanding students to serve local and international communities, providing them with young talents carrying the banner of the eternal Islamic message. This is achieved through high-quality undergraduate and postgraduate programs, with diverse specializations and modern presentation of educational materials; benefiting greatly from technological means to connect students with educational content, making it easier for them to absorb information in an engaging manner. These programs aim to graduate students who are knowledgeable about their religion and aware of the culture of their time, enabling them to fulfill their role in inviting others to Allah with knowledge and insight.

The faculty includes four main departments:

  • Department of Islamic Studies

  • Department of Islamic Studies in English

  • Department of Sharia

  • Department of Thought and Islamic Da'wah

  • Department of Prophetic Hadith

  • Department of Creed and Contemporary Thought Currents

Additionally, the faculty offers various educational and training programs, based on the needs and evolving requirements of the job market.

I also take pride in the progress and success achieved by the faculty, which inspires us to exert more diligent efforts in serving Islam, the Quran, and their languages, as well as society and humanity, and knowledge and education.

Through the qualification of distinguished students specializing in Islamic fields both academically and intellectually, conducting scientific research, organizing international conferences, and providing various educational and training programs for local and international communities, the faculty is steadfastly moving forward in building strong and effective relationships with various segments of society and partners, and maintaining them.
